Cost of therapy & some logistics

My fee is $175 for a 55 minute session and $260 for 90 minutes, payable by Zelle, Venmo or check.

When we begin our work, I highly recommend that we meet once a week, at least for the first few months, so we can get to know each other and find the rhythm that our work together wants to have. Sometimes we'll decide to meet more, sometimes less, but the sweet spot seems to generally be once a week. When you're ready, and whenever necessary, we'll explore other options for scheduling.

I currently meet with clients on Zoom with the exception of psychedelic journey support.

The fee for psychedelic journey support is billed at an agreed upon rate based on the time and support requirements of specific medicines.

I am not in-network with any insurance companies but I can provide out-of-network superbills if you have those benefits, and I offer a sliding scale for those who need.


Ellen Santaniello has a BA in pre-medical Biology from Brown University (1986) and a Master of Arts and CAGS in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University (2010). She is licensed and insured as a mental health counselor in the State of Rhode Island.
